Brussels Cello Festival 2026

The Brussels Cello Festival is an internationally recognized biennial cello festival bringing together the world’s top cellists and young talents to Belgium for a week of inspiring concerts and masterclasses.
The 2026 Brussels Cello Festival will mark our 5th edition and promises to be our biggest edition yet, taking place in the various halls of the iconic Brussels landmark, Flagey between 30 Oct - 1 Nov 2026.
We are also excited to collaborate for the first time with the Brussels Philharmonic, who will join us on the Opening Night in Flagey Studio 4 featuring an appropriately cello-centric programme soon to be announced !
The artists make up the heart of the festival - so far, this year’s participants include some of today’s most impressive cellists such as Roel Dieltiens, Anne Gastinel, Marie Hallynck, Frans Helmerson, and many others yet to be announced!
Some of the most exciting cellists of the next generation will grace our stages including stars such as Victor Julien-Laferrière, Aleksey Shadrin, the top laureate of the 2026 Queen Elisabeth Cello Competition, and many others!
